| Abstract | Aquatic hyphomycetes are a group of imperfect microscopic fungi that live in aquatic ecosystems, which is responsible for decomposition of the organic matter into water, facilitating its degradation by other organisms. Ecologically and biotechnologically, these fungi are important, considering their enzymatic battery, involved in a lot of industrial, decomposition and bioremediation processes. Therefore, is important to identify fungi in very world latitudes, and particularly in tropical regions, including Venezuela, where these organisms are poorly characterized. |
