| Abstract | The article presents professional characteristics of the dimensions of teaching competence from the perspective of academics and teachers of a degree in Physical Education. It is a qualitative and descriptive study carried out with last year students and teachers through semistructured interviews. In order to process the data, we analyzed content with support of NVivo 10 software. The results demonstrate several characteristics of the teaching profile that involve the ethical, political, aesthetic and technical dimensions, which is the most expressive in the interviews. The curricular practices represent the possibility of narrowing the relationship of the graduates with the schools and contribute to the learning of the professional knowledge. |
