| Abstract | Until the recent development in our country of the higher-education reform, popularly known as the Bolonia Process, a degree in Social and Cultural Anthropology (ASC) has been one of the Majors called “second cycle”. Consequence of this fact, its students already had at least one university degree and many of them were in full exercise of diverse business activities. The purpose of this text is to highlight the potential of local associations of graduates in ASC to create a meeting point to provide its members mutual cooperation and professional growth as anthropologists, blend Anthropology with their individual professional activities providing them with greater capacity to provide better service to society, and contribute to the visibility of Anthropology with research activities and society-appealing studies. |
