Abstract	Some aspects of feeding value in different plant communities Plant communities of differently managed respectively abandoned alpine pastures were evaluated in respect to their fee ding value in the area of "Badgastein". In still managed pastures palatable herbs and grasses predominate. Species which are despised by cattle increase as more as Ion ger the pasture was abandoned. The chemie al fodder analysis was not suitable to evaluate the communities investigated.
