| Abstract | A study was conducted on a gray pure Brahman cattle, located in Arauca Tame to understand the relationships between productive variables: birth weight (BW), weaning weight (PD) and weight at 18 months (P18) during period nine years. The mean and standard deviation obtained during the nine years were, to 37.40 ± 5.25 kg BW males, females 34.78 ± 4.65 kg, PD 254.58 ± 40.81 kg male, 235.72 ± 36 23 kg female, P18 months 344.05 ± 75.42 kg males, females 303.28 ± 60.29 kg. NP increased to 8 kg for males and 6 females, as happened with the PD was increased to 18 kg for males and females was observed 17 kg. Moderate and significant relationship between PD and PN P18 months (p <0.05) for most years evaluated was observed. |
