| Abstract | The public administration started adopting a managerial vision, striving for factors such as productivity control. Many studies about the relation between production and the satisfaction degree of the servants were made, aiming the organization’s productivity increase and methods of professional satisfaction. The study aims to analyze the levels of satisfaction of the servants of the Municipal Government of Santa Maria’s Federal Revenue superintendence, sorting the results according to Frederick Herzberg’s motivation-hygiene theory. A literature search and a quantitative survey were done, whereby it applied a questionnaire to thirty-eight servers from Superintendence. From the results, it was concluded that there are high levels of dissatisfaction on the motivational and hygienic factors, which could be reduced by actions like the restructuration of the career path, the training policy and, mainly, the adopted leadership style. |
