| Abstract | New field work carried out in the Murcia region and the revision of MUB herbarium specimens allowed to add to the present regional catalogue the following 9 taxa: Acaulon fontiquerianum, Ceratodon purpureus, Fissidens viridulus var. viridulus, F. viridulus var. incurvus, Grimmia trichophylla, Orthotrichum pallens, Rhynchostegiella curviseta, Tortella tortuosa var. fragilifolia and Tortula viridifolia. Aschisma carniolicum is reported for the second time 36 years after the first collection and its distribution in Murcia province is widened from the north to the southeast. After these new data, the Murcia bryophyte flora is composed of 224 species (241 taxa), 192 of which are mosses (208 taxa) and 32 hepatics (33 taxa). |
