| Abstract | Richard J. McNally, Ph.D. is Professor and Director of Clinical Training in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University. He is the author of 320 publications, including the books Panic Disorder: A Critical Analysis (Guilford, 1994) and Remembering Trauma (Belknap Press/ Harvard University Press, 2003). A major focus of his research concerns cognitive abnormalities associated with anxiety disorders, especially panic disorder, obsessive–compulsive disorder, and posttraumatic stress disorder.
