Ewolucja rynków pracy pod wpływem przemian technologicznych – aktualne wnioski dla Polski

Abstract	Scientific and technical progress as well as associated technological developments impact labour markets. Global processes in this area influence the labour market in Poland. In this article some selected global directions of labour market evolution under the influence of technological development have been analyzed. The importance of communication and information technologies and the automation of goods and services production have been identified as a key influencer on labour markets. Contemporary technological developments lead to the transformation of labour markets and to a shortage of job supply. Extrapolation of current trends has revealed that the key features of labour markets in the foreseeable future will be as followed: jobs in services, performance of non-routine cognitive and manual tasks, jobs unlimited by geographical location. The recent increase of the jobs in business service centers in Poland is a derivative of technological developments and its influence on the labour market. The percentage of jobs in the Polish economy which is jeopardized by the automation is significant, however lower in comparison to other economies. The avenues for further research in this area have been suggested in the article.
