Abstract	Resumo: Partindo da taxonomia de Wazlawick, que propoe cinco estilos de pesquisa na Ciencia da Computacao, este trabalho buscou identificar uma tradicao nos estilos de pesquisa em Informatica na Educacao que envolva Educacao a Distância, a partir da analise das publicacoes dos ultimos nove anos do Simposio Brasileiro de Informatica na Educacao. Foi possivel concluir que essa tradicao de estilo envolve a criacao ou melhoria de ambientes virtuais de aprendizagem, ferramentas e modelos, sendo a inovacao uma caracteristica fundamental e os construtos Inteligencia e Avaliacao os mais frequentes. Abstract: Based on the taxonomy of Wazlawick, which proposes five styles of research in Computer Science, this paper aims to identify the existence of a tradition in the style of research on Computing in Education related to distance learning, analyzing the last nine years of publications of Brazilian Symposium on Computer in Education. This study concludes that this tradition of style involves the creation or improvement of virtual learning environments, tools and templates, and innovation as a key feature. The most frequent constructs are Intelligence and Assessment.
