| Abstract | The delay in handling the fire that often occurs in lately gave rise to the idea of a software that could help ease in locating planning hydrant as one of the tools to handle the occurrence of fires in the city of Medan. By using fuzzy attribute decision making (FADM) with simple additive weighting method (SAW) based on geographical information systems (GIS), it will be easier for decision makers to perform analysis of existing data, with a geographic information system it will be described the position of the spread of data on actual conditions. Geographic information systems are used to visualize the results of an alternative that can be used for development planning in the hydrant location of Medan. Simple Additive Weighting Method (SAW) which is a method used to find the optimal alternative of a number of alternatives with certain criteria, with a weighting of criteria is determined by adjustment of fuzzy numbers. Using the saw can produce a gisbased system that can assist planners in determining the location of construction of the hydrant. |
