| Abstract | The present study aims to identify the service structure for the street population in Porto Alegre through the characterization of the social assistance network and its forms of interaction. In order to do so, it is necessary to comprehend the composition of this structure considering the existing interactionin the social assistance network. It is an exploratory, bibliographical and documental study, quantitative-qualitative, with data collection from secondary data study and semi-structured interviews with the managers of the organizations identified and registered with Municipal Council of Social Assistance. It is considered that there is a set of organizations that serve the street population with essential services, which present possibilities for improvement for networking. |
