| Abstract | This project is focused on identification, evaluation, control and a response action facing the presence of an emergency and establishing methods that should be followed, if it is happening in the GADM – Riobamba workshop, mainly guarding the physical integrity of the workers in the administrative, operational and visitor´s areas. For these reasons, the analysis was carried out with the different methods and necessary tools to determine the risks, threats and degree of vulnerability of the GADM`s facilities. The identification and data collection also was done to determine the type of infrastructure and materials that are stored and the level of risk that was presented, applying the different methods such as: MEIPEE Method: this one determined the existent risks in the municipal workshop and they were: risk before earthquakes and volcanic eruptions with an average rating, fire risk with a high rating. Method MESERI: it has an average risk of 5.01, its interpretation says that it is within the range of 4.1 to 6. Showing us an acceptable average level of risk. NFPA Method: it gives us the fuel load of each area, whether administrative, operational or warehouses storage. The most vulnerable areas are: the general warehouses storage, the vulcanize, the pack off and the fuel storage area. Training was also carried out about: fire prevention and control, first aids and creation of brigades, the exercise of simulacrum also was carried out, which served to verify the effectiveness of the emergency plan and the workers capacity to respond evacuating to the persons from an area in danger to a safe area. |
