| Abstract | O presente texto procura contextualizar e explicitar os principais argumentos e algumas das criticas feitas as ideias anti-religiosas do cientista britânico Richard Dawkins. No seu livro, “Deus, um delirio”, o problema da existencia de Deus e criticado enquanto um problema cientifico, ou seja, Dawkins critica a ideia da crenca na existencia de uma inteligencia suprema e criadora do mundo enquanto fundadora da religiao e de todos os maleficios que ela autoriza. Para Dawkins, a crenca em Deus e perniciosa e alem de tudo um delirio ja que as pessoas acreditam nele mesmo sabendo que e quase certo que seja improcedente. No final deste texto, existem criticas relevantes que foram feitas a estes argumentos, principalmente as de Terry Eagleton, filosofo que pensa que os argumentos de Dawkins, alem de carecerem de conhecimento teologico usam a ciencia para pensar coisas que nao sao de sua alcada. RECURRING AND CRITICAL ANALYSIS OF THE IDEAS OF THE BOOK" GOD DELUSION" BY RICHARD DAWKINS THE CONTEXT OF POST- MODERN ABSTRACT This paper seeks to contextualize and explain the main arguments and some of the criticisms of anti - religious ideas of British scientist Richard Dawkins.No his book , " God Delusion " , the problem of God's existence is criticized as a scientific problem , or is, Dawkins criticizes the idea of belief in the existence of a supreme intelligence and creator of the world as the founder of the religion and of all the evils which it authorizes . For Dawkins belief in God is pernicious and most of all a delusion because people believe in it even though it will almost certainly be rejected. At the end of this text are relevant criticisms that have been made to these arguments , particularly Terry Eagleton , a philosopher who thinks that the arguments of Dawkins and they lack theological knowledge use science to think things that are not within its scope .
