La planificación interdisciplinaria de unidades de aprendizaje en la Carrera de Medicina de Universidad Nacional del Sur (UNS) : una forma de desarrollar la Integración Curricular

| Abstract | Introduccion . La carrera de medicina de la UNS tiene un programa integrado con tres ciclos. El diseno curricular incorpora modelos de educacion del adulto y esta integrado en torno a cinco ejes denominados areas que atraviesan transversalmente a todas las unidades: Biologica, Clinica, Ciencias del comportamiento (CC), Salud individual y colectiva (SIC) y Analisis epidemiologico de los determinantes de la Salud (AEDS). Objetivo . Describir la experiencia de planificacion interdisciplinaria de las unidades de aprendizaje y algunos resultados de evaluacion de la experiencia. Relato de la Experiencia. Para concretar efectivamente el trabajo de grupos planificadores interdisciplinarios en el diseno de las unidades de aprendizaje se busco un intercambio intraarea e interareas y fue necesario superar barreras historicas entre las disciplinas y encontrar un lenguaje comun. Los resultados de las investigaciones realizadas muestran mayor relevancia en el tutor que en los problemas planificados. No obstante, ello debe cuidarse su diseno ya que las visiones sesgadas que puedan aparecer en los problemas son internalizadas por los estudiantes. Resulto igualmente satisfactorio el uso de otros disparadores como peliculas del circuito comercial. Comentario . Resulta dificil encontrar valoraciones directas de estos modelos planificadores mas alla del alineamiento a una filosofia educacional. La eleccion de especialidades al egresar fue poco influenciada por el programa, pero es de destacar proporcion de ingreso a residencia superior a la media de los egresados del pais. ABSTRACT Interdisciplinary planning of learining units in the Medical Programme in the University Nacional del Sur: One way of curriculum integration development. Introduction . The medical career of the UNS has an integrated program with three cycles. The curriculum design incorporates adult education models and it is built around five main areas that cross over all educational units, these are: Biological, Clinical, Behavioral Sciences, Individual and Collective Health and Epidemiological Analysis of Health Determinants. Objective . To describe the experience of interdisciplinary planning of the educational units and some results of the evaluation of the experience. Experience . To effectively set the work of the design of learning units in interdisciplinary planning groups, an inter-area and intra-area exchange was necessary to overcome historical barriers between disciplines and to find a common language. The results of the research show that the tutor role was more relevant than problems. Nevertheless the design of such problems must be carefully designed because problem biased views could be internalized by students. Other triggers such as commercial movies were proved equally satisfactory as paper problems. Comment . It is difficult to find direct assessment methods for these planning models beyond the alignment to educational philosophy. Specialties choice upon graduation was little influenced by the program, but it is noteworthy the proportion of graduates entering to superior residencies which is upper the average of the graduates of the country. |
