| Abstract | In this article, we have reported simple and eco-friendly microwave assisted method to synthesize Vanadium Oxide without any surfactant added. The prepared samples have taken to various characterizations techniques to know their structural, morphology and optical band gap measurement. XRD analysis shows that samples contain the orthorhombic structure with the average crystallite size of 12 nm. Functional groups associated with vanadium oxide are investigated by FTIR studies. HRTEM analysis clearly shows that synthesized samples have mixed state of small cubic & rod-shape structures. These analyses evident that as prepared nanostructures is suitable for the electronic application like gas sensor, supercapacitor and Solar Still designs. |
