| Abstract | Ao ressaltar o pioneirismo do NEC/UFF na realizacao de pesquisas cientificas centradas na producao literaria do Canada francofono, o artigo apresenta reflexoes sobre estrategias para o ensino do frances no Brasil. Revelando uma postura de amadurecimento politico-ideologico, que sempre caracterizou as praticas academicas desenvolvidas neste Centro de Estudos, seus autores propoem uma acao pedagogica fundamentada nao apenas na recusa da alienacao e da pulsao mimetica, mas tambem na valorizacao da diversidade cultural em uma epoca em que se reconhece o nascimento de uma literatura-mundo em frances. It discusses the political and ideological evolution and maturing goals of the school’s academic practice. The authors propose pedagogy to counteract both alienation and mimetic impulse while striving for the recognition of cultural diversity and global French literature. Keywords: Centre of Canadian Studies of UFF; political and practice pedagogy; teaching french and French Canadian literature Resume : En soulignant le caractere pionnier du NEC/UFF dans la realisation de recherches scientifiques centrees sur la production litteraire du Canada francophone, l’article presente des reflexions concernant des strategies pour l’enseignement du francais au Bresil. En devoilant une posture revelatrice d’un murissement politico-ideologique, qui a toujours caracterise les pratiques academiques developpees dans ce Centre d’Etudes, ses auteurs proposent une action pedagogique fondee pas seulement sur le refus de l’alienation et de la pulsion mimetique, mais aussi sur la valorisation de la diversite culturelle dans une epoque ou l’on reconnait la naissance d’une litterature-monde en francais.
