Abstract	The rubber belongs to the genus Hevea, highlighting the species Hevea brasiliensis as the most planted to produce latex. Among the factors limiting the production of rubber are plant pathogens, including nematodes of genus Meloidogyne. This study aimed to do a review about Root knot nematode occurring in the rubber. It has addressed the main species of root knot nematodes in rubber and the mechanisms of plant resistance to this pathogen group. These data will help rubber producers manage their production areas in a sustainable way. Key-words: rubber; meloidogyne.
