| Abstract | Early stimulation performed at home for children, from birth, through early childhood is an important factor for psychomotor development; it plays an important role in the development of children personality, and in the development of their self- esteem. These aspects help children adapt to school as their closer familiar environment (Alvarez, 2009). This study analyzes the influence of stimulation given to children at home with the development of their self-esteem, integrating theoretical aspects of education and psychology. Taking in consideration the vision of psychology and education, this study will try to give a theoretical support that confirms the assertion raised “The benefits of home adequate stimulation in order to promote the development of self-esteem”. The study has compiled information about benefits of early stimulation in the development of children during early childhood and factors that help the development of children’s self-esteem at these ages. With this information it tries to find a relation between home stimulation and the development of self-esteem during early childhood years. |
