Abstract	SUMARIO: El juego ha estado siempre presente en la historia del hombre, de manera que si a su interes y necesidad por jugar le unimos nuevos materiales o aportamos nuevas posibilidades de uso para materiales no convencionales, como es al caso de la baraja de cartas , incrementamos la motivacion hacia la actividad que proponemos.El articulo muestra la posibilidad de usar "las cartas" en una sesion de Educacion Fisica cumpliendo diferentes objetivos y ampliando la vision del alumno en cuanto a posibilidades ludicas de materiales proximos. SUMMARY: Playing has always been present in Human History, so if we combine new materials with man's interest and need to play or think about new possibilities of using non-conventional materials, such as the pack of Spanish cards, we will increase motivation towards the activity we propose. This article shows the possibility of using cards in Physical Education lessons, reaching the different aims and widening the student's view towards the recreational possibilities of playing with known materials.
