| Abstract | The article discusses the resistance to change in work productive restructuring times, from the perspective of managers and workers in general. It concerns a case study conducted in a third- generation company of the plastics sector. Data collection was made through semi-structured interviews, documental and iconographic sources and non-systematic observation of work routine. Data analysis prioritized contents analysis in the light of the pertinent theoretical reference and discussed two central axis: the facets of work productive restructuring in the company; the ways of resistance to change motivated by work productive restructuring from the perception of managers and workers in general. Results indicate that resistance to change, though manifested in different ways, can be perceived both in workers in general and in the managers responsible for implementing the changes. Resistance appears as an enigma in work routine, affecting the life styles of managers and workers in general. It shows in a subtle way, differently from the visible and opposing way commonly found in classic literature. |
