| Abstract | Buck-boost converter is used to raise or lower the voltage source, wherein the voltage output will have a smaller or larger voltage than the source voltage. The magnitude of the converter output voltage is determined from the value of the capacitor (C) is 47 μF, inductor (L) of 68 mH and switching mosfet is PWM signal with a frequency of 4 kHz. The size of the voltage source and the converter output voltage generated will go into PCI 1710HG, to be processed in Simulink matlab using fuzzy logic control. There are three inputs to the fuzzy logic, the set point, the input voltage (source) and the output voltage with the one output of the fuzzy logic is inverting. Inverting will go into the LM324's in the comparator with a triangular signal of NE555 so that later on LM324 will produce a PWM control signals. For testing without a control with valoe of the fixed duty cycle is 27.7%, then the output voltage produced is even greater given value of the source voltage is 30 V to 60 V. While in the testing using current control given source voltage of 30 V, 45 V, 60 V , produces an output voltage of 36 V, with a duty cycle PWM signal magnitude is raised by 47.3%, 33.9%, 27.38%. |
