| Abstract | We report photorefractive (PR) polymer composites doped with 2-piperidino-5-thienylmalononitrile chromophore. The PR polymer composites showed a glass transition temperature of 25∼27 °C, good transparency at 633 nm and long shelf lifetimes at room temperature. The PR polymer composites with a thickness of 100 μm showed a maximum diffraction efficiency of 77∼91% and a rapid response time of 110∼980 ms at the glass transition temperature. In addition, the composite C3 was observed at a video-rate response time at 35 °C. |
