ABSTRACT With the objective to evaluate the agronomical efficiency of fungicides Tricyclazole, Pyroquilon and Carboxin + Thiram, in seeds treatment, for the control of rice blast (Magnaporthe grisea), was installed an experiment with nine treatments and eight repetitions with El Paso 144. The parameters used in the evaluation had been the number of seeds with symptoms of attack of the illness. The effect of the treatment of seeds on cv. El Paso 144 had allowed to conclude that all the fungicides tested for the control of M. grisea had shown efficiency between 88,55% and 97,59%, in relation the control. The best treatment was Pyroquilon in the dosage of 400g a.i.100kg-1 of seeds, with 97,59% efficiency, followed of Tricyclazol in the dosages of 187,5 and 225g a.i.100-1 of seeds, with efficiency of 95,18% and 95,8%, respectively.
