| Abstract | In order to relate the different floral development stages of Coffea arabica L. c.v. Colombia and some climatic variables such as soil moisture (R), minimum temperature (Tmin) and sunshine (BS) in the Colombian central coffee zone, the relative frequency of week change from one state to another during the sprout (E) and flower buds (B) was determined in the Central Station of Cenicafe, Naranjal in Chinchina, Caldas. The Function of Simple Transference theory was used. The adjustment among values estimated by the model of transference function and the values observed allowed to show that this is a useful tool for the prediction of flourishing behavior as a response to climatic variables. |
