Abstract	A data searching method for an electronic device that stores a plurality of string data is disclosed. The data searching method includes: generating a plurality of index values corresponding to the plurality of String data; receiving an input value sequence, and selecting at least one target data having an index value that partially matches the input value sequence from the plurality of string data.
