| Abstract | espanolEste trabajo muestra el diseno de una estrategia para el aprendizaje de conceptos algebraicos en estudiantes ciegos. Para ello, se utilizan los mosaicos algebraicos y una base disenada exprofeso que permite su ubicacion espacial, lo que posibilita realizar operaciones simples utilizando el sistema haptico. En esta primera etapa, se abordan las operaciones de suma, multiplicacion, factorizacion y division, ademas de soluciones a ecuaciones con coeficientes enteros. La estrategia se aplico a un grupo de ocho estudiantes de la Universidad Autonoma de la Ciudad de Mexico. Los resultados muestran una pronta adaptacion al material y una profusa apropiacion de los conceptos. EnglishThis paper describes the design of a strategy for teaching blind students algebraic concepts. It consists in algebraic tiles with a board designed to position the pieces in space to perform simple operations by touch. The operations envisaged in the first stage include addition, multiplication, factorising and division, as well as solving equations with whole number coefficients. The strategy was deployed with a group of eight students enrolled at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. The findings showed that the materials and concepts were quickly and readily assimilated. |
