Abstract	Study of andalusí fortifications in “Marca Superior ” in Alandalus, with the exception of Huecha Valley , studing before by the same author in a recent publi cation. The remains of these buildings show the importance they had in the organization of the terr itory and the symbolic importance of the use of ash lar. The long Muslim presence in the middle valley of the Eb ro has retained significant remains of fortificatio ns. Most of them built with brickwork of ashlar “almohadilla d ”, which differs depending on the time in which t hey are built.
