Abstract	This study aimed to describe the form of rhyme and sound patterns in kapatu poem in Bima local language. This research was descriptive, qualitative in nature. The data of this study were the words on each line and stanza in a kapatu collection found Bima which represented writing style on kapatu. They were taken from kapatu scripts spoken by a maxim in the village Sape, District of Bima, named M. Fadli Mansour.
