| Abstract | This paper focuses on the possibilities of granting amnesty for crimes against humanity committed by members of illegal armed groups in the context of the current peace process in Colombia . It starts to consider that according to the imperative international law , those responsible for war crimes , crimes against humanity or genocide ( which can be committed both in peacetime and wartime ) may not benefit from the pardon or amnesty , whatever the qualification of such conduct under domestic criminal law. |
