| Abstract | This contribution comes up within the Multidisciplinary Team of ECTS consultants, from the University of Castilla-La Mancha, in relation to the Teachers’ training needs, derived from the pilot implementation of the European Credit, from the 2003-2004 course until present. In the framework of the Educational Innovation and Quality Unit, that emerged later, the aforementioned team develops an important active roll as coordinator, promoter and actor of the Teachers’ permanent training. The Multidisciplinary Team, located in a University whose initiatives are hard to manage, due to its geographical disposition and its large diversity, keeps a high degree of cohesion related to its intervention criteria. It has also achieved a very important roll in training through the main work fields this team is in charge of: Innovation Projects, the Induction Course to the University Teachers, Training Workshops and Intercampus Meetings. This Multidisciplinary Team has some important challenges, as they are its recognition by the government boards of the UCLM and its consultant work to the Teachers, as well as its roll in the implementation of the new educational programmes/degrees. |
