Abstract	As a political thinker Hannah Arendt differs from many other political and legal theorists because she is aware of the intimate and reciprocal relations between law and politics. Despite she didn´t developed a systematic work on legal matters, during an ample period of his intellectual life there are reflections on it. In this work I explore the relationship between law and politics through the problem of the destruction of legal personality, mentioned in The origins of totalitarianism. Through the investigation of how the dissolution of the person occurs, I propose a reading of the interrelations that can be found between law and politics seen from an Arendtian perspective.
