| Abstract | The aim of this paper is to analyze a link between a level of organization proximity of the merging companies and the range of integration activities performed on the post-transaction stage. In the conducted research it was assumed that the more similar the companies which are the partners of transactions in a meso dimension the bigger its dynamics is. The paper presents the research results on 5 M&A transactions in the companies of a pharmaceutical sector in the years 2008–2010. In the research there was a conviction that the evaluation of the integration effects should be done at least 2–3 years after the transaction. |
