| Abstract | This work presents the Second Plan of Policies for Women, however, does not intend to question the effectiveness of the plan, bur to analyze which theoretical aspects were used to structure the textual element of this document. The analysis starts presenting the Liberal, Critical and Feminists Theories of International Relations. In addition, international laws for the Protection of Human Rights and those who have contemplated the question of gender are presented. The final part of this research calls attention to the strong liberal influence on the instruments which would ensure protection of women and how this influence was reflected on the Second Plan of Policies for Women. |
