| Abstract | Field experiment was carried out to determine the effects of amounts of inorganic (FeSO4.7H2O) and chelated (Fe-EDTA) iron fertilizers and also the methods of application (soil application, foliar application) on plant growth Fe uptake and yield. The results showed that the foliar application of iron fertilizers gave better yields and growth component as compared to soil application of iron fertilizers. Results also showed that the chelated fertilizer directly to soil or as foliar gave higher result as compared to inorganic fertilizer. |
