| Abstract | The present end-of-degree project (TFG) is focused on the study of an oil painting on canvas, a "Virgin and Child", possibly made at the end of the eighteenth century. Nowadays belongs to a private collection (La Eliana, Valencia). This TFG consists in the technical study, an evaluation of the state of conservation and a proposal for the intervention. To carry out the work, iconographic issues have been investigated, as well as an historical-artistic approach to the painting. On the other hand, the pathologies presented by the work have been studied in order to suggest the intervention proposal and the recommendations for a correct preventive conservation. |
