| Abstract | Occupational Health is one of the most important branches of health due to it is aimed to achieve the best conditions for the workers. The exposure to ionizing radiations it is a risk with a huge impact but with a low visibility. That's why there is legislation to regulate this risk, as well as specialized companies such as Profesionales en Salud Ocupacional S.A.S. Despite the fact that the company has an extensive experience in this field; they still depends on others. The lack of a legal person licensed to provide radiological protection and monitoring services, has made the company conduct a big investment in order to achieve the license, at this point all the investments it must be evaluated to understand the benefit of it. Because of this situation, were born the initiative to establish a case study that allowed us to appreciate, through financial projections, the benefit of achieving that license. Those projections showed an increase of 1100% EVA versus the current conditions; also showed an assessment of the assets of 2.4 times. All of this confirms the need to do that investment, due to, the positive impact to the organization’s future. |
