| Abstract | Pelaksanaan Sekolah Bestari telah membuka ruang seluas-luasnya kepada teknologi komputer dan internet di mana fleksibiliti serta kepelbagaian boleh dibina dalam sistem pendidikan. Sehubungan itu, sebuah laman web Pembelajaran Berbantukan Komputer (PBK) yang bertajuk Pythagoras' Theorem, topik dalam Matematik KBSM Tingkatan Dua telah dibangunkan. Pembangunan ini merangkumi semua subtopik dalam bab Pythagoras' Theorem, iaitu the Relationship Between the Sides of a Right-Angled Triangle and the Converse of Pythagoras' Theorem. Bahasa Inggeris telah dijadikan sebagai bahasa pengantar dalam laman web ini yang dibina khusus untuk pelajar Tingkatan Dua. Gabungan elemen multimedia yang bersesuaian seperti teks, grafik dan animasi diimplementasikan untuk menarik minat dan meningkatkan keberkesanan proses pembelajaran. Strategi pengajaran tutorial digunakan dalam proses menyampaikan isi pelajaran. Model Rekabentuk Instruksi Bersistem Hannafin Dan Peck digunakan untuk dijadikan panduan dalam proses pembangunan laman web ini. Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003 digunakan sebagai perisian utama manakala Adobe Photoshop CS2 dan Macromedia Flash Professional 8 digunakan sebagai perisian sokongan. Diharapkan laman web ini dapat menggalakkan para pelajar menjalankan pembelajaran kendiri di samping mempertingkatkan lagi mutu pengajaran dan pembelajaran sejajar dengan perkembangan teknologi masa kini. The Smart School implementation had open a wide space to computer technology and internet where as flexibility and diversity can be build in educational system. Hence, a Computer Based Learning (CBL) website entitles Pythagoras' Theorem, which is one of the topic in Form Two Mathematics had been developed. This development includes all the subtopic in Pythagoras' Theorem, which are the Relationship Between the Sides of a Right-Angled Triangle and the Converse of Pythagoras' Theorem. English was used as a medium of instruction in this website that was developed specially for Form Two students. Combination of suitable multimedia elements such as text, graphic and animation in order to attract enthusiasm and increase the effectiveness. Tutorial instructional strategy was applied in process to deliver lesson content. This website was developed according to the Intructional Design Model of Hannafin and Peck. Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003 was used as the main development software and supported by other software such as Adobe Photoshop CS2 and Macromedia Flash Professional 8. Hopefully, this website will lead students to selfdirected learning besides improving the quality of the teaching and learning process which is parallel with the development of the new technologies nowadays |
