| Abstract | Some of your comments have led us to make changes to the models. In doing so, however, we incurred certain issues with convergence for the dichotomous outcome variables. After some reflection and reading further into relevant methodological papers, we decided to build simpler linear/logistic regression models with standard errors clustered by facility rather than multilevel (random effects) models. This is also in light of the relatively small sample size and the fact that the focus of our paper is on individual-level factors. Moreover, results of these models might be easier for readers to understand and interpret. We also considered adding facility fixed effects, but discarded the idea as this leads to exclusion of a substantial number of observations due to perfect prediction for the dichotomized WHO-5 using the 40% and 60% thresholds. |
