| Abstract | RESUME. L’effet des inclusions granulaires sur les proprietes rheologiques, les deformations au tres jeune âge et les resistances mecaniques de mortiers a ete etudie. Au cours de ce travail de recherche, un ciment de type CEMI et deux rapports eau/ciment (E/C = 0,35 et 0,45) ont ete utilises. L’effet des granulats sur le retrait endogene a ete quantifie en faisant varier le rapport massique granulat/ciment (G/C=1 et 2), et le type de granulat (sable naturel (SN) et des fines recyclees (FR)). Le retrait endogene a ete evalue en utilisant le dispositif BT JADE permettant de mesurer le retrait lineique vertical des matrices cimentaires. Dans cette etude, le temps de prise des mortiers est mesure par des essais de prise de Vicat, on considere que le temps zero correspond au point de divergence entre le retrait chimique et le retrait endogene. Les resultats obtenus montrent que la substitution du sable naturel par des fines recyclees engendre une diminution du retrait endogene des mortiers dans le cas G/C=1, et une augmentation dans le cas G/C=2. ABSTRACT. This study aims to quantify the effects of A/C ratio and aggregate properties on the properties of the mortars (workability, autogenous shrinkage, compressive strength) prepared with natural river sand (NS) and fine recycled aggregate (FRA).Two water-to-cement ratios (W/C=0.35 and 0.45), two aggregate-to-cement (A/C) ratios (A/C = 1 and 2), and two types of aggregates (i.e, natural crushed aggregate (NCA) and fine recycled concrete aggregate (FRCA)) were used in the experiments. Portland cement type CEM I was used in the mortar mixtures. The autogenous shrinkage test of mortars and concretes can be measured by a linear method designed at IFSTTAR. Since autogenous shrinkage is expected to initiate only after setting has occurred, it is justified to take the time to as a reference from which autogenous shrinkage will be determined from the length change curves. The results show that the use of fine recycled aggregates at saturated state in the mortar mixes can reduce the autogenous shrinkage in the case A/C=1, and an increase in the case of A/C=2.
