| Abstract | In the work the comparison is carried out, and the advantages of the given generator over coaxial system with a converging beam and flat systems with virtual cathode are presented. The research shows that the grid transparency and diode current have a considerable influence on particle trajectories and define radiation efficiency. The eigen values of the resonance system have been calculated, and the mode structure of radiation has been investigated. The experiment of dependence of virtual cathode formation and frequency and radiation power from beam parameters and geometry of the system was performed. The paper concludes that the most effective interaction of the beam in planar-coaxial reflect triode occurs with wave of TEM type. |
