| Abstract | SIMEDIF is a code conceived for the design and simulation of the thermal transient behavior of buildings, entirely developed at INENCO. SIMEDIF simulates the thermal behavior of multiroom buildings both to evaluates the variations in their behaviors due to climatic and meteorological factors and to detect problems in thermal comfort (overheating or low temperatures) inside the zones of the studied building. The aim of this paper is to describe the thermal model used by SIMEDIF and the innovations of the code. |
