Abstract	In developing this paper the problem of research is the impact of the current peace process and a possible post-conflict in the national army and which strategies of transformation to be a multi-mission military and self-sustaining institution are being implemented, taking into that in recent years the national army is undergoing a process of transformation that is currently underway in various processes within the force. the aim is first step to analyze the impacts that are being generated in the military institution as a result of the ongoing peace process and identify the impacts of a possible post-conflict, once done this, establish a causal relationship to changes to implemented in the institution, and it is a review about the current process of transformation that takes place within the Force, verifying what stage is investigating about strategies for change and if these conform to the findings made, taking into account the literature and case based on the experience of other post-conflict countries.
