Abstract	Objective: To adapt and to validate the scale Montgomery Asberg Depresion Rating Scale (MADRS) in Colombia Method: Observational study for scale validation. Validity criteria was performed through the selection of the instrument cut?off points of severity, having into account sensitivity and specificity values, those cut points were contrasted with ICD?10 criteria for depression severity, and a factor analysis was performed.
