| Abstract | This research project seeks to answer the question: What is the characterization of the university education practice the subject of sexuality in Childhood Education Program at the Technological University of Pereira? Categories are assumed as those made by Zabala analysis (Zabala, 2008, pag. 18) in their studies as well: Teaching sequences and content organization, relations that occur in the classroom between teacher and student or students and students of social organization class, curriculum materials and other teaching resources and assessment. The study was part of a qualitative descriptive level, the methodology focused on the research work in the content analysis. According to (Abela, s.f.). We used audio recording transcription, contained in the information collected. Once transcribed information proceeded to segment the textual units and coded based on their correspondence with the units of analysis previously set. Data analysis was performed: Separation of content units as categories of analysis, identification and categorization of the elements, according to the teaching practice and finally synthesis as units of analysis. The results of this research show relevant aspects on how to identify and characterize the university education practice in the subject of sex education and how it can enrich the educational process, as, promotes research of teachers on their own practice. |
