| Abstract | Fujian Province as a cultural province, the cultural industry still has a larger space for development, and the role of the regional economy still needs to be improved. The regional economy should play a more important role in promoting the development of cultural industry. This paper makes a systematic study on the relationship between the cultural industry and the regional economic development in Fujian province by using various research methods. We try to find the problems in the development of the two, in order to better promote the coordinated development of the two. Introduction Since the reform and opening up, Fujian province has made great progress in utilizing its unique geographical advantages and policy advantages, but it should be noted that the third industry, especially the cultural industry, has lagged behind. Fujian "12th Five-Year" plan clearly pointed out that we should be more conscious of the cultural industry to promote economic development and prosperity of the Economic Zone on the west side of the straits. In the new period, the research on the relationship between the cultural industry and the regional economic development of Fujian province has far-reaching and realistic significance. The Relationship between Cultural Industry and Regional Economy The data is from the "statistical yearbook of Chinese cultural relics" and "Fujian Statistical Yearbook" in 1996-2013.We use the Fujian GDP as a measure of variables in Fujian regional economic development situation, selection of cultural industry in Fujian province 1995-2012 increase value, the number of employees as a measure of variable development of cultural industry in Fujian province.
