| Abstract | A faculty group within UNED-university, with members from different fields, is working on defining an ICT reference framework to support universal access and design for all principles in every service provided by our University, and especially in those related to e-learning. This framework intends to safeguard equal opportunities and non discrimination against persons considering diversity issues, including those adults who may experience any disabilities due to functional, cultural, technological or old age impairments. To that end the group started a project called «Accessibility and Functional Diversity», framed within the UNED’s Pedagogical Innovation Networks, where the main tasks during the first year have been: i) setting up a roadmap for achieving those goals, ii) performing a thorough analysis of the current situation at UNED and elsewhere, and iii) providing initial developments of the required ICT tools. This document describes those activities and introduces future developments. |
