Abstract	A Universidade deve propiciar condicoes de desenvolvimento tanto da cultura profissional como da geral. A pesquisa objetivou descrever e comparar o envolvimento cultural de ingressantes e concluintes de um curso de Psicologia de uma Universidade privada da periferia de Sao Paulo, sendo 17 iniciantes (G1) e 19 concluintes (G2). Foram usados: um Termo de Consentimento Livre e Esclarecido (TCLE) e um instrumento sobre vivencia cultural. The goal of the research was to compare the cultural involvement of students in the first and last year in a Psychology’s undergraduate course in one private University at a suburban neighborhood of Sao Paulo.
