| Abstract | This document presents a methodology for restoration of a faulted distribution network through a reconfiguration of its topology. This methodology is based on graph theory, where the search for the better restoration option is obtained through the reconfiguration, and is supported by the priority of loads, and relevant factors such as the network ́s operation parameters. For this purpose, it is to use graph theory as a mathematical tool to find the better configuration, looking to serve as many users as possible after a fault. In this study, the use of Minimum Weight Spanning Tree as a tool to restoration is observed, showing a novel proposal to reduce the discontinuities in users. Keywords— Spanning tree, Reconfiguration, Restoration, Distribution network. |
