| Abstract | This research goal is to make a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the texts published at the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper where were some mention to the ideologists Caio Prado Jr., Sergio Buarque de Holanda and Gilberto Freyre. It approaches the journalism as a social field mediator to other social fields. It deals with the connotation theory and the myths, based on Roland Barthes, to talk about ideology in journalistic discourse. It makes a survey of published texts and uses the comparative method to analyze it. It concludes with commentaries about the three authors permanence at the brazilian press, more precisely at the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper. |
